World Ocean Day is an opportunity each year to celebrate our world ocean and our personal connection to the sea. An important part of our Environmental Leadership program, join us to learn more about the Green Movement, how conservation is occurring in Southern Maine and how our Ogunquit hotel is making each stay more eco-friendly.
Celebrating Ogunquit's beaches and the sea with onsite conservation information, eco-education, live entertainment, World Ocean Day party and more!

Eco Tours - Take an insider's tour of the Meadowmere and our Resort's Environmental Leader efforts. Led by a Cavaretta family member, you'll see the behind the scenes efforts that go into our Ogunquit hotel everyday. Tours at 3pm & 4pm, Main Lobby.
An Inconvenient Truth produced by Al Gore - Special pre-show viewing of Tim Janis' Ogunquit CD! Show at 5pm, South Meadow TV Room.
The 11th Hour narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio - Special pre-show viewing of Tim Janis' Ogunquit CD! Show at 8pm, South Meadow TV Room.
Official World Ocean Day Pub Party - Featuring our 'Day at the Beach' special. Win an upgrade! Enter by leaving a Resort Guest Card (available in your check in packet) with us. You can win a move to the top of the house when you stay on our Learn to Surf Package. A portion of your stay goes to the Surfrider Foundation - a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves and beaches. We are happy to give back to preserve local Maine beaches for you to enjoy. Party 4pm-10pm, West Meadow Pub.
