Taste Magazine’s November Top Ten

Another spot we visited recently was The Dunaway. Now not everyone is a fan or cares to have foam involved with their dinner (it is a rather baffling cooking technique – plus how does one get full eating air?), but the Dunway does it just right. Making the dish more interesting without leaving you wondering if you will be part of a Willy Wonka special from ingesting all that air (Fizzy lift anyone?). And right now there is an pre-fix tasting menu that features the oldest apple variety and a dessert sampling that is outstanding (and apply of course).No surprises with the Green Monkey – if you haven’t visited to say hi to Deb, you’re missing out! Even a die hard meat-a-holic falls in love with the Monkey’s Pad Thai. Plus, how can you not have fun at a place where your martini comes with a plastic monkey? Just be sure you don’t collect a troop all in one night!
