The Maine Innkeepers Association is a dedicated group who are forever helpful to us here at the Meadowmere and to all our fellow innkeepers. This year, our Ogunquit hotel will be participating in the Hospitality for Habitat program.

What does that mean? It means 50% off for you. That’s right – half price.

What do you have to do? That’s it (oh and well, stay at the resort – that too. But if you just wanted to contribute to Habitat, that great too!).

Why? Because it’s a wonderful cause! Habitat provides homes, home improvement and services to local families in need. Some of the staff have first hand experience volunteering here – including one heart warming story where a little boys room was fixed from rot and repainted – something the family could never afford to hire someone to do.  There were even holes to the outside. When the little boy saw it, he couldn’t speak – he just held the volunteer’s hand and smiled. It’s not about free housing – it’s so much more.
