This week’s stories!

May brings us so many reasons to smile. From great deals  on the Good Stays Doing Good like Hospitality for Habitat and Marginal Way Stays – to the fun of Mother’s Day and Memorial Day weekends. The tulips are up and so are the temps. We’ve even had our first thunder storm in Ogunquit – a sure sign of summer to come.

  • Janet was taking care of her rooms over the Easter weekend here in Ogunquit and having some fun with putting Easter candy treats in each room. In her travels, she noticed a couple wandering the halls. After offering her assistance, Janet learned these guests wanted to take a look at the West Meadow Pub. She escorted them to the Pub personally and then showed the couple how to return to their room, as it was on an entirely different floor than where she found them!
  • While preparing a room for arrival Beverly was interrupted by a guest looking to take a peek at our resort rooms. After pointing out a few details of the room, Beverly then took the time to answer more questions about the amenities at the Meadowmere and how the hotel is maintaining. The guests were impressed at how friendly and knowledgeable she was.

Thank you for letting us share this week’s service stories with you. Each week we hope our little differences help bring a smile to you face – remember, service is not dead. It just took a vacation to Maine!
