This week’s stories!

Schools out! And that means summer vacation has officially started. It is time for relaxing and enjoying the long sunny days and the warm breezy nights. The Fourth of July is just around the corner what could be better than live entertainment and fireworks over the Ogunquit Beach.

  • We like our guest’s to feel like they are at home and we enjoy taking the time to inform them  about all the resort has to offer. While Kyle was checking in a guest he noticed that they were  first time visitors. Instead of directing the guest to their room and the different amenities we offer onsite, he gave the first time guests a personal tour of the property and escorted them to their room. Guest felt so at ease and was very happy to know where all of our great amenities including hot tub, pool, fitness and theater were all located and took advantage of all the resort has to offer during their stay.
  • Janet was cleaning a stay over room and noticed that the guests were celebrating their anniversary. She placed a small card wishing them a Happy Anniversary, along with rose soaps and swan towels so that they could enjoy the private Jacuzzi tub in their suite.
  • Computers can be temperamental at times. Janet was walking through the lobby when she noticed a guest having difficulty with the printer in our business center. The printer would not  stop printing and the guest had intended to only print his boarding pass. She restarted the printer and cleaned out the previous printing job so the guest was able to print his boarding pass.

“If you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that. Word of mouth is very powerful.” – Jeff Bezos, CEO Amazon.com

Thank you for letting us share this week’s service stories with you. Each week we hope our little differences help bring a smile to your face – remember, service is not dead. It just took a vacation to Maine!
