This week’s stories!

Fall is in the air! With all the pumpkins on display and the yummy smell of hot apple cider in the lobby it is hard not to think about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Don’t forget about out Thanksgiving Gobbler Package. There is still time to vote Gordy as your favorite Ogunquit Scarecrow, just stop by the Ogunquit Chamber and fill out the scarecrow contest ballot form.

  •  A walk along the Marginal Way is beautiful in any weather. One of our guests decided to take a walk regardless of the impending weather and unfortunately got caught in the rain. When the guest returned to their room soaking wet they were disappointed as they did not have any dry cloths to wear to breakfast. Janet noticed the guest returning from her walk and inquired if she needed any additional towels. When the guest mentioned that she did not have any dry cloths to wear she gave them a Meadowmere fleece vest so that the guest could be dry and enjoy their breakfast.
  • Maine is know for it’s lobster and many people travel far and wide to try this delicacy. One of our guests had been inquiring where the best place to dine on lobster was and was rather confused about where the best and most convenient place was to try a Maine lobster. Brandon assisted the guest and gave the guest directions to his favorite place to get lobster. The guest was very pleased with his suggestion and enjoyed their lobster dinner, bib and all.
  • Men love their cars, and one gentleman guest was concerned over where to park his vehicle during his stay. Crystal noticed the guest searching for the perfect spot in our Main parking lot and approached the guest to see if she could assist.  The guest was looking for a parking spot away from the other vehicles, he wanted an end spot if possible. She escorted the guest over the Country Squire parking lot and helped the guest find the perfect spot for his car.
