This week’s stories!
You know what they say about March if it comes in like a lion then it goes out like a lamb, and this year March certainly came in like a lion. Mother Nature decided to cover everything in a stunning white blanket of snow but it won’t last long. With milder days just around the corner it’s the perfect time to shake off that cabin fever and come and enjoy a mini-escape to Ogunquit. It’s time to Eat, Drink and Be Merry with our dinning package. If you are looking for something more serene check out our Mind, Body, Spirit Package.
- It’s Showtime! While Brittany was cleaning the Roman Spa, she overheard some of our guests talking about the movie room. She approached the guests and said she couldn’t help but overhear them discussing the unique amenity and offered to give them a sneak peek as no movies were currently showing. Later in the day Brittany encountered the same guests, this time they were investigating the fitness facility and were curious about the tanning booth so she unlocked the booth so they could check it out. The guests were so impressed by her attentiveness that they made mention at the front desk of how accommodating and helpful she had been.
- Eric was working late one evening when a guest called down and inquired if he could help them figure out the source of a humming from somewhere near their room. Eric went up to the room to investigate and verified that there were no other rooms around them that could be the cause of the noise. He wasn’t able to pin point the source of the sound so he moved the guest further down the hallway. He returned to the front desk and made the guest new keys and then returned to the guest’s new room and turned up the heat and turned on the lights. He then assisted the guest with their luggage to their new room. The guests were very grateful as they were light sleepers and were concerned that the humming would keep them up all night.
- Janet noticed a guest who was departing from their stay and didn’t have anything to carry his wife’s flowers home in. She offered him a vase but he declined, but happily accepted a plastic bag so that they would get the back seat of his car dirty.
