This week’s stories!
Summer is not over yet! The kiddos may be back in school but there is still plenty of beach weather ahead, so pack up the car and don’t forget your sunscreen, come see New England’s #1 beach and sink your toes into Ogunquit’s white sandy goodness. Looking to improve your putting? Check out our Tee and Sea Package or if relaxation is your primary goal take advantage of our Mind, Body, Spirit Package.
- Keeping your kids all together can be difficult on any day, add new surroundings and different interests and you have your hands more than full. A guest came to the front desk and inquired if there was any place to rent a stroller in town. Tracy saw the distress on the more than frazzled father’s face and retrieved her own stroller from her vehicle. She gave the stroller to the guest and told him to use it for the duration of their stay. Guest was so amazed by her generosity and could not thank her enough. The guest admitted that he was considering going out and purchasing a stroller or renting one and could not thank her enough for her hospitality.
- There are many great and relaxing things about the beach, getting beach sand everywhere is not one of them. Janet was cleaning a stay over when she noticed the guests sandals full of beach sand, she rinsed them off and dried them and replaced so that when the guest returned they could enjoy their walk around town and leave the sand at the beach.
- You can’t throw a flat football and you certainly can’t make the game winning touchdown with one either. One of our young guests approached the front desk and asked if we had a bicycle pump or something to blow up his football, unfortunately we do not have a bike pump. Luckily Kyle had his pump for his basketball in his car, he retrieved the pump and blew up the football so they could play on the beach.
