This Week’s Stories!
What makes you think of fall? Is it that first cool night when you can see your breath as you walk the Marginal Way or is it that first cup of hot apple cider? There are so many things to love about fall and it is truly a magical season full of color and comfort. Come and enjoy Ogunquit in every season and let us know which is your favorite. Don’t forget about the upcoming festivals like HarvestFest and OgunquitFest.
- Decisions, decisions, which one do I pick? Sheila was assisting a walk in guest who was trying to decide on a room type for the evening. Guest requested to see the room before they completed the reservation. Guests were elderly and did not seem to fully understand the directions give to the room. She personally escorted the guests to the room and showed them the different amenities along the way. They got a personal tour of the property and even extended their stay the following day.
- Guests in our Luxury suites wanted breakfast in bed, what could be more relaxing? The guest was finished with their breakfast and was heading out to return his tray to the West Meadow Pub, Janet offered to take the tray and trash for the guest. She also inquired if the guest enjoyed their breakfast. The guest stated it was delightful and just the thing to get them going in the morning and now they were ready to explore Ogunquit.
“Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us daily.” – Sally Koch
