This Week’s Stories!

What is your favorite thing about fall? We love the leaves rustling under our feet as walk the along the Marginal Way. The fall colors are beginning to change and this foliage season is sure to be a brilliant one. Come and enjoy all your favorite things about fall and check out these upcoming all festivals, OgunquitFest and HarvestFest.

  • Getting around on crutches is hard enough, one of our guests had a broken ankle and was having difficulty getting around. Matt brought the guest and his luggage to the guest’s room. The guest was part of a larger group we had here on property and had dinner plans at Jonathan’s next door, once again Matt escorted the guest to Jonathan’s in the golf cart. It was a rainy weekend and when the rest of this group saw his personal chauffeur they all requested rides over to the restaurant so they wouldn’t have to walk in the rain, Matt happily obliged and none of the group had to walk in the rain to enjoy their dinner and festivities next door.
  • When we notice or are informed of guests preferences we make note so that we can accommodate the guest’s next stay and have their preferences set up before they arrive. Janet was cleaning one of our Luxury Suites when she noticed that the guest had moved the table by the window and had placed their television near the window. Janet made note of the guest’s room set up and their preference was added to their account so that we can have the table in their preferred location before their next arrival.

“Championship customer service isn’t a matter of what you think it is. It matters what the customer says it is.” – Ray Pelletier

Thank you for letting us share this week’s service stories with you. Each week we hope our little differences help bring a smile to your face – remember, service is not dead. It just took a vacation to Maine!
