- The apple cider served in the lobby is a favorite of many of our guests and goes quickly, especially on cold fall nights. Two gentlemen came to retrieve a cup on their way to the outdoor hot tub and were disappointed that the cider was empty. Sheila called the pub to see if more cider could be made. The pub was able to make another batch of apple cider and it was brought to the lobby, almost immediately there was a line of people. Sheila was able to slip away from the desk for a moment and retrieve two cups and delivered them to the guests in the hot tub, they were delighted and surprised that she went out of her way to not only inquire about their request but also to personally deliver it to the guest.
- An extra set of hands is always appreciated, especially in the morning before you’ve had your coffee. Crystal was cleaning the lobby when she noticed a guest returning from the pub with his hands full of coffee, she rushed to the door to help him and held it open so he wouldn’t spill any of his coffee.
