This Week’s Stories!

Who doesn’t get a little blue during the winter months. Avoid the winter woes and stay active, try new things and don’t be afraid to live a little. January is a time for resolutions and promises of a bigger and better new year, travel should be on everyone’s list and Maine’s pristine coastline is enjoyable in any season.

  • We had some very special guests stay with us during last week’s school vacation. A family that has endured a horrific situation as may in the small town did, they needed an escape and to bond and heal as a family. We are privileged that they chose our resort for their retreat. Tracy saw their information on the daily service sheet and had a bucket of snacks, a puzzle and a card welcoming them to the resort. No mention of what they had endured or any feelings of sorrow, just a simple welcome.

“If you love your customer to death, you can’t go wrong.” – Graham Day

Thank you for letting us share this week’s service stories with you. Each week we hope our little differences help bring a smile to your face – remember, service is not dead. It just took a vacation to Maine!
