This Week’s Stories!

Who’s ready for some fun in the sun? Ok now we just need to find the sun, it’s hard to believe that spring is around the corner with all this white stuff on the ground. We sure do miss walking the Marginal Way and the cafe dinning downtown, but warmer weather will be here before we know it and we can’t wait to welcome it with open arms. Think Spring!

  • Janet keeps a close eye on the daily service sheets and she noticed that two of the rooms listed were in her section. Both parties were celebrating anniversary. She left a note wishing them a happy anniversary with a small gift in each of the couples rooms, the
guests were so surprised that she not only knew about their anniversary but also took the time and effort to acknowledge it, it was a special memory for the guests.
  • The game room is a child’s paradise. Paul was working in the pub when he was approached by a small group of youngsters who were distraught as their money was stuck in the change machine. He retrieved five single dollar bills and was able to fish the five that was stuck in the machine out. The kids were able to get quarters and play their beloved games, they thought that Paul looked more like a superhero then a bartender.

Thank you for letting us share this week’s service stories with you. Each week we hope our little differences help bring a smile to your face – remember, service is not dead. It just took a vacation to Maine!
