This Week’s Stories!
Mother Nature can be fickle when she wants, but spring is surely around the corner. We have even seen a few robins out in the trees! What is your favorite thing about spring? Is it that clean smell that the air has or maybe it’s the spring tides treasures that are left upon the beach. Whatever your favorite may be this time of the year gets everyone up and moving and ready to shake off those winter blues.
- It’s all about going the extra mile just to put a smile on someone’s face. Trisha had ended her shift for the day and was on her way out the door when she was stopped by a guest who had just checked in. They wanted to know if we have luggage carts, she regretted to inform them that we did not but would be happy to help with their luggage, the guest happily accepted her offer. Once the luggage was all delivered the guest offered to give her a tip, she politely declined and told the guest to just enjoy their stay.
- We have many happy couples that visit our property in hopes of finding the perfect spot for the newly weds and their wedding guests to stay while celebrating their nuptials. Janet noticed that one of the rooms in her section was scheduled to be shown to the bride and her bride-groom to be. She made swans for the bed and added our wedding binder filled with creative ideas and suggestions on local area vendors for the guest to flip through while they toured the room. The couple was delighted and look forward to their fall wedding.
