This Week’s Stories!

Get your Spring on and put a little bounce back in your step! The Marginal Way is calling to your walking shoes it’s officially spring here in Ogunquit and all of the signs are present. Don’t forget to make your plans for the summer! Soon it will be beach towels and boogie boards don’t miss all the fun!

  • The Front Desk can be a busy place sometimes. Kyle was assisting a guest on the phone with their future vacation plans when a guest with two small children entered the lobby, he sensed that the guest wanted to ask a question but was not certain as the guest did not approach the front desk. Later after Kyle was completed assisting the guest over the phone the family approached the desk, he apologized for not being available to assist them earlier. The guest inquired about directions to Perkins Cove, he gave the guest a map with directions and pointed out a few of his favorite spots in Perkins Cove and also a post card for the little ones. Upon the guests return from Perkins Cove they returned to the desk to thank him for his suggestions
    and his personal approach.
  • Let them eat cake! Jennifer was cleaning a stay over when she noticed a couple of birthday cards on the dresser. During her shift break she went downtown to a local bakery in Ogunquit center and picked up two yummy cupcakes for the guest, upon her return she placed the special treats in the room for the guest and noted the guest’s special day for management to record for future stays.
