This Week’s Stories!
Memorial Day has come and gone and we are on our way…This summer is sure to be filled with fun in the sun, especially with our new pool. We are proud to be a Maine family resort and we have had the privilege to watch many generations vacation at this Maine family resort and make memories that are passed down and stories that are told over again. What memories will you make this summer at our Maine coast resort?
- family staying with us that had to switch rooms for their extended stay due to availability. The family was happy to extend their vacation and get a few more days relaxing by the pool. The
littlest member of the family was very upset about the thought of switching rooms and was crying and making the room move very difficult for her parents. Whitney retrieved a small toy for the child and convinced her that the new room was just as much fun and she could take her new toy to the room and have one more day of fun at the resort, the little girl liked this idea and decided it was ok for them to move rooms. The parents were grateful for Whitney’s token
and patience with their daughter and our little guest ended up loving her new room.
- The guest vacationing in our Maine Presidential Suite inquired with Janet where they could purchase a bottle of wine, she directed them to the village center and placed two wine glasses and a corkscrew in their room so that they could enjoy their wine upon their return.
- We have many couples that join us for their Maine honeymoon, coastal Maine has the charm like no other and in particular Ogunquit’s white sandy beaches create the perfect romantic Maine vacation, to add a little romance to one couples stay Stuart treated the guest to a complimentary glass of wine and a plate of cheese in the West Meadow Pub to celebrate and congratulate them on their newly wed status.
