This Week’s Stories!
Rain, rain go away! Well at least it’s a warm summer rain who doesn’t like splish splashing in the puddles and dancing along like Fred Astaire? It doesn’t matter what the weather there is plenty to do like the Andy Warhol exhibit at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art or shopping in Ogunquit’s fine boutiques, enjoy the amenities and all our southern Maine resort has to offer.
- I’m singing in the rain, just singing in the rain until I get my shoes wet. One of our guests who was traveling with the bus group was looking for something to dry her shoes with, she was using tissues without much success. Sophia asked if she could be of help and the guest asked for some paper towels or something thicker than the tissue, she remember that we had a roll of paper towels in one of the maid’s closets and went and retrieved the roll for the guest. She told the guest to take the entire roll with her in case she needed it again in the rain, the guest was delighted and advised she would share the towels with the rest of her party.
- If you are a wine connoisseur you have the very best and also your favorite. Janet noticed that one of our repeat guests was celebrating an anniversary, she also noted that their favorite type and brand of wine, she purchased the Cabernet and had it placed in their room, the guest was not only delighted by the kind gesture but completely blown away by her attention to their preferences.
“You’ll never have a product or price advantage again. They can be easily duplicated, but a strong customer service culture can’t be copied.” – Jerry Fritz
