This Week’s Stories!
Hello Fall! This week commences the beginning of September Fall Festivities. And here at the Meadowmere, a Maine family vacation resort, we have begun our apple picking in preparation for the cider season. Don’t miss your chance to celebrate accordingly like we are with apples and warm cider in our lobby!
• When Donna, our housekeeper, was cleaning a guest’s room as she noticed that someone was sleeping on the floor on top of some sofa cushions. Donna brilliantly wrapped the cushions with a sheet and set up a blanket for the guest to enjoy a more comfortable sleep. The little boy found Donna right after she departed their room eager to give her a big hug for her kind efforts.
• Matt, our runner, came across a woman in the Tea Room reading a book who said her neck had been bothering her. She was doing physical therapy exercises in the Tea Room and asked Matt if he could have a pillow. Matt did so happily and the guest was
extremely relieved!
• Janet, our housekeeper, was cleaning a room and found an earring in the bed. She placed it on the nightstand and left a note for the guest.

Thank you for letting us share this week’s service stories with you. Each week we hope our little differences help bring a smile to your face – remember, service is not dead. It just took a vacation to Maine!
