This Week’s Stories!
With the holidays getting closer, don’t miss your chance to book for a post-Christmas getaway here at our Maine family vacation resort! Join us for December school vacation to enjoy our indoor pool, movie theater, local sledding, Christmas shopping in Kittery, and ice skating. Movies will be playing all weekend long and there’s plenty of snow to play in!
• As many guests look forward to staying with us, some unexpected things do change plans. For one of our frequent guests, a very serious health issue prevented him and his family from celebrating New Year’s Eve with us. Our front desk agent, Sheila, so thoughtfully suggested we send a card letting the family know that they are in our thoughts. We wish the guest a speedy and safe recovery!
• Guests of ours who stay every weekend were heading home and mentioned they were unsure of their next visit. The guests advised us that their daughter was having surgery due to hearing loss and that they most likely wouldn’t be back up to the Meadowmere until well after Christmas. Our front desk agent, Ellyse, offered that the Meadowmere send a card to let the family know they are in our thoughts and that their daughter gets well soon.
• A stay over of ours had a fully soaked cloth bath mat left in the shower. One of our housekeepers, Jodi, cautiously replaced the bath mat with a rubber one for a safer option. She also met a guest who inquired about the ice machine by the East Meadow building. Jodi explained that it was closed during the winter season and offered to get some ice in the Main building, just a quick walk. The guest was extremely thankful for Jodi’s kind gesture as she was in her pajamas.
