If you are unfamiliar with the area, Portsmouth is a historic seaport and popular summer tourist destination with plenty of Southern Maine resort options. It was the home of the Strategic Air Command’s Pease Airforce Base later converted to Portsmouth International Airport at Pease with limited commercial air service. In the center of town, you will spot the North Church, historic and iconic with its steeple being the most spotted view throughout town.
If you’re looking for old historic homes, head to the Strawbery Banke Museum a neighborhood featuring several dozen restored historic homes in Colonial, Georgian and Federal styles of architecture. It is the site of one of Portsmouth’s earliest settlements.

Unfortunately the desk did not have a copy, but Lauren remembered she got one when she previously went. She quickly retrieved it from her purse and gave it to the guest. How resourceful of Lauren, not to mention knowing the hot spots in town!
• Whitney was headed towards maintenance and saw some women in the parking lot looking confused. She approached them asking if she could help them in some way. The women were lost getting to their room so Whitney escorted them. The women were so grateful! Our buildings can be pretty tricky..
