Maine’s pristine ocean, mountains and abundant water have long been reasons to visit. And the Meadowmere Resort has been a home for generations to come and enjoy our clean, comfortable inn. Yet there are many places in this world where families struggle every day to have access to clean water and hygiene. The staff, management, and ownership of The Meadowmere Resort find this unacceptable so we’ve joined the Clean the World program to recycle soap and amenity bottles.

Our participation in the Clean the World initiative means that every stay with us helps impoverished people, prevents millions of hygiene-related deaths each year, reduces the morbidity rate for hygiene-related illnesses, and encourages vigorous childhood development.

 

Recycle Soap. Save Lives. Protect the Environment.

The Meadowmere Resort has committed to partner with Clean the World and to collect used, discarded soap from guest stays and send these to Clean the World’s state of the art facility to be recycled. Hundreds of socially conscious hotels help to provide cleaner and safer living for millions.
